We kick started 2018 with a funky retro campaign that sent us swinging back to the 1970s. This month the Southern Gold Coast prepares for the launch of the 1970s flick, Swinging Safari, starring Guy Pearce and Kylie Minogue, which was filmed on location at Froggies Beach in Coolangatta.
Our clients at La Costa Motel partnered with BCC Cinemas Coolangatta to bring the movie to Coolangatta for a special screening in complete retro style.
With a vision to create a competition that would capture the essence of the film and this iconic location, we worked with La Costa Motel to bring the brief to life, positioning their brand front and centre with a great prize that local moviegoers can go in the draw to win.
Starting with a blank canvas, we designed a retro-inspired sunburst background for a simple flyer with pastel shades and groovy fonts. As well as the design of the flyer and entry form, we created the copy around the campaign and made sure the Terms and Conditions were easily accessible online through their website.
With only a week to turn it around from concept to creative, we love the result and making sure our clients have a happy start to the year.
